Darick Robertson, co-creator of THE BOYS, serves as creative producer on the project that originally debuted with the above trailer with Ajmal and Abdallah playing the Arab / South Asian / American heroes themselves. The trailer received a massive amount of positive attention. Issue #1 will be released in print everywhere on July 19th. They recently took the comic (and characters in person) to London Comic Con and on July 29th Golden Apple Comics in LA will be hosting a public signing with Abdallah, Ajmal and Darick. New issues will be released monthly.

Of the project, Darick (Robertson) says: “…it had all the elements you need for a fun, urban-based Super Hero vigilante romp, but it’s also funny! … AJ and Abdallah aren’t just creating these characters, they ARE these characters onscreen. As a result, they live and breathe them. I don’t think I’ve ever been involved in a project so relevant to the creators’ actual lives.”
