Last evening, and with much fanfare, Shi-creator Billy Tucci has unveiled legendary comics’ creator, Rob Liefeld’s special Shi: Gatecrasher Editions, a pair of limited variants exclusive to Indiegogo. The Liefeld Solid Gold Variant and the premiere Extreme Red Metal Shi Edition, featuring an actual stainless steel cover are now set as the campaign’s featured perk.

Crusade Comics’ 10th Indiegogo, Shi: Gatecrasher, featuring Coffin Comics’ Lady Death and the world’s greatest heroes as unlocked its first free Stretch Goal reward, to expand the 48-page full-color, graphic novel to 56 pages. Now, on the campaign’s sixth day, Gatecrasher is on the verge of breaking its $60,000.00 Stretch Goal and rewarding all backers (who choose a physical perk) to also receive a free digital edition of the book with cover gallery extras.
Based on the Story by writer J.C. Vaughn and Tucci, and illustrated by Tucci, Leandro Oliveira, Hi-Fi Colour Design, with lettering by Mindy Lopkin, Shi: Gatecrasher is literally the “destroy all monsters” of comic book character collision!
Crusade is also preparing a myriad of unique perks and stretch goal rewards. The campaign will boast many specials, prints, original art and limited variant covers by Tucci along with comic book greats, Stan Sakai, Renie Strychalski, Art Thibert and superstar Rob Liefeld.
