According to Fightful Select, WWE has taken preliminary steps to get CM Punk and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in the ring together at WM40.
“WWE sources have indicated to Fightful Select that they’re optimistic Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. CM Punk could happen, and the subject has been broached,” said the report.
