(BALTIMORE, MD) — (February 27, 2024) — Diamond Comic Distributors, the world’s largest distributor of comics, graphic novels, and pop culture merchandise, is pleased to announce an expanded partnership with Archie Comics, as Archie moves into the Deluxe Tier of publishers.

Archie Comics will be joining AfterShock Comics, ABLAZE Publishing, Frank Miller Presents (FMP), Opus Comics, Massive Publishing, and Zenescope Entertainment in Diamond Comic Distributors’ Deluxe Tier of publishers. The Deluxe Tier features preferred coverage in the PREVIEWS catalog and expanded support on the PREVIEWSworld website. Archie will move into the Deluxe Tier beginning in the March 2024 PREVIEWS catalog.

“Archie is elated to expand our partnership with Diamond and join the Deluxe Publisher Tier,” said Jonathan Betancourt, Archie Comics SVP. “We have continued to grow after nearly a century of publishing, and our biggest stories are still to come in the years ahead. Our sincere thanks to retailers and the entire Diamond team for their support.”

Spanning 85 years, Archie Comics is one of the most influential, successful, and longest-running brands in the history of the comic industry. With sales of over 2 billion comics, books published in dozens of different languages, and globally distributed, the Archie characters are immediately recognizable and beloved worldwide. The popularity of Archie’s storytelling and extensive roster of characters makes the Archie brand an ideal resource for multimedia properties, including the long-running CW series, Riverdale, and the Netflix hit, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

“Archie is not only one of the biggest brands in comics, they’re one of the most recognizable brands across all media, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to expand our partnership with them,” said Tim Lenaghan, Chief Purchasing Officer for Geppi Family Enterprises. “We’re excited for their plans for the remainder of 2024 and looking forward to amplifying their message across the industry.”
