LOS ANGELES 11/06/2026 — Today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, shared a first look at preview pages and covers from M.A.S.K. #7. From the creative team of writer Dan Watters (Nightwing, Destro), artist Pye Parr (Petrol Head, New Gods), colorist Pierluigi Casolino (DC vs Vampires), and letterer Rus Wooton (Transformers), a new, action-packed story arc begins as the war between M.A.S.K. & V.E.N.O.M. sends the Energon Universe into a transformative new era! M.A.S.K. #7 kicks off the series’ next chapter on December 2, 2026.

M.A.S.K.’s series debut took the comic book industry by storm earlier this year with its robust blind bag program, introducing ROM to Skybound’s Energon Universe comics, making it one of the biggest launches of the year and in franchise history! The hit series continues to surprise fans with unexpected first appearances and shocking twists.
In addition to the main cover by Pye Parr, the lineup of variant covers for M.A.S.K. #7 includes open-to-order covers by Nick Bradshaw, Jim Charalampidis, and Derek Charm, incentive variant covers by Fadime Yildirim, Satoshi Shiki, and Arist Deyn, a blank sketch cover, and a die cut mask variant cover by Pye Parr, Luke Preece & Andres Juarez.
M.A.S.K. is the latest addition to the historic collaboration between Skybound and Hasbro, part of the shared Energon Universe comic line that features ongoing series Void Rivals by writer Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead), artist Frank Mazzoli (The Crow), and colorist Patricio Delpeche (Catwoman), the two-time Eisner Award winning Transformers by writer Robert Kirkman, artist Jason Howard (The Astounding Wolf-Man), and colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater, Murder Falcon), and G.I. Joe by writer Joshua Williamson (Superman, Legion of Super-Heroes), artist Tom Reilly (Ant-Man), and colorist Lee Loughridge (Thor, Star Wars).
