Comments: “Piemageddon”
An elderly Jughead narrates to an elderly Archie the tale of Piemageddon. It all started with Jughead getting up late, which for him is perfectly normal. A momentous occasion is upon Riverdale, and only Jughead can make it a success.
Now add Veronica and Betty having another tiff over Archie, then throw Reggie into the mix, and you have a recipe for disaster. One thing leads to another as a small, simple pie fight quickly gets out of hand and spreads like wildfire. Even superheroes get involved. Thus, Piemageddon is born, and the world will never be the same again.
The story is done in the classic Archie style and looks amazing. All the characters are drawn with so much life and personality. The colors make them pop off the page. The interactions between the characters, especially Archie and Jughead, are entertaining from beginning to end.
“Jughead 1st First Love”
Jughead is introduced to girls. But Jughead, being Jughead, has a one-track mind, and it always leads to his stomach. It is fun to watch his reactions, knowing that, to him, they are perfectly normal.
The dinosaurs are fun to see, and the artwork illustrates the prehistoric setting in an enjoyable way. The boys and the girls all have fun in prehistoric times, and so will you.
