Date Everything! has released the Self Care Update across PC and consoles! Experience the ultimate Date Everything! experience like never before! For those new to the game, now is a great time to jump right into the game that took home some exciting awards this month! At the Gayming Awards 2026, Date Everything! captured the hearts of many by winning both the Best LGBTQ+ Indie Game and the Gayming Fan Favorite Award.
Date Everything! lets players dive into a world where even everyday things can be romantic. With “Dateviator” glasses, players explore relationships with anything around them—from their laundry basket to the air—discovering unique personalities and surprising results as they learn more about their everyday objects. The sandbox dating game made by Sassy Chap Games and published by Team17 launched in June 2025. The game has 100 characters you can date. On Steam, it has a “Very Positive” rating and more than 5,000 user reviews.
The Game & The Community
The Self Care update is packed with community-requested features and includes various quality-of-life enhancements. Some of the updates include:
- Screenshot Mode: Temporarily Remove Textbox-Chan! to take pictures of your beaus.
- Player Pronoun Change Option: Players can change their preferred pronoun at any time through Skylar Specs
- Updated Content Aware Descriptions: Based on player feedback, each existing Content Aware has additional detail and updated language
- Subtitles for Songs and Musical Pieces for Hearing-Impaired: Miranda, Bodhi, and Keyes will display lyrics and descriptions during their most musical moments.
- Curt and Rod Player Pronouns: We brought in Davied and Jacquis into the studio for new lines that address the player with correct pronouns!
- Daisuke/Gaia Interaction: We brought Daisuke (Tsuji) into the studio for a special Traveler dialogue with Gaia!
- More sensitive player choices in general for: Farya, Arma, I, Ronaldini, Freddy, Mitchell, Maggie, Scandalabra, Stefan, Stepford, Teddy, and Zoey
