Haunted Pizza LLC is proud to announce its latest graphic novel project, Bounty Hunter and the 2Xtreme Monster Trucks, a high-octane collaboration with the world-renowned 2Xtreme Racing Team. The project marks an exciting fusion of motorsports and comics, bringing the thrill of monster trucks into a dynamic superhero universe.
The series will be written by Haunted Pizza founder and former DC Comics scribe Mark Poulton (Savage Hawkman), with artwork by illustrator Fredson Oliveira. Scheduled to debut in 2026, the graphic novel will showcase 2Xtreme Racing’s iconic monster trucks—Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit, Shark Bite, and Roarin’ Rex—alongside their drivers, reimagined as a team of high-powered superheroes.
“This is a dream project for me,” said Mark Poulton. “As a child of the ’80s, I’ve always been fascinated with monster trucks and wanted to do a monster truck book. Now, I get to do one with Bounty Hunter front and center!”

At the heart of the series is Bounty Hunter, the legendary monster truck and his driver Jimmy Creten, former Monster Jam World Racing Champion, leading the charge in a battle against evil that spans arenas and dimensions. Fans can expect explosive action, over-the-top stunts, and a celebration of everything that makes monster trucks a cultural phenomenon. “Monster trucks have always been larger than life—now we get to bring that world to the page,” said Jimmy Creten. “Seeing Bounty Hunter and our crew come alive in comic form is a dream come true. We’ve spent decades thrilling fans in the arenas, and Haunted Pizza is helping us capture that same adrenaline and attitude in a whole new way. I can’t wait for people to see the monsters, the mayhem, and the heart behind it all.”

The debut graphic novel will feature a series of collectible variant covers by JC Grande featuring Bounty Hunter, Scarlet Bandit, Shark Bite and Roarin’ Rex, adding even more excitement for comic and motorsport fans alike.
