Comments: Dara Lund is shown with blood on her from her childhood. Two people who knew her better than Alister and Moe are shown in the present day as adults. Strange things are happening in the present. Moe is not standing up for herself in her job and relationship.
Ten years ago in the past Dara and others were at camp. Dara has her period there, but she has no idea what it is. She does have a limited childhood.
The art style is so well done to match the story being told. Dara was an unsure girl and vulnerable. We see Conley take full advantage of that fact. She is the classic bully.
At camp, some of the other campers mention the Curse to Dara. Conley is the leader of this teasing of Dara. Moe and Alister both go along with Conley. The teasing, though, is going too far.
In the present, things keep happening that go back to the Curse.
In the past, Conley was a mean kid in how she tortured Dara. You will feel Dara’s pain as she is terrified of this made-up Curse, yet she does not know what to do, and Conley is more than willing to take advantage of and abuse her.
Conley, Mo, and Alister, for what they did to Dar, deserve to be punished.
