Comments: “Prologue” Nice introduction giving the reader a little insight into what the book is about.
“Chapter 1” A boy looks to comic book superheroes as his escape from real life. He leads a lonely existence and wishes he had friends. You will feel for this boy, Sonny. He does have a couple of adult friends, yet none of his age.
There is a being a void or shadow that may or may not be real, trying to contact Sonny. This adds some suspense and mystery to the story.
Sonny Forever gets to go to school, and it is his first day.
“Chapter 2” Sonny is bullied at school, and he is afraid to do anything about it. His reality, ty, awell w, is still fading in and out. The real question here is, is the shadow man real?
Sonny makes two new friends in Marylee and Franklin.
Sonny has his 14th birthday, and it is both happy and sad. Sara is his guardian, and his parents, well, they are dead. Sonny, though, is always making the best of what he has. He has hope.
“Chapter 3” Sonny gets his first job, and while he is still in school so he will be extremely busy.
The lines of reality are making it hard to tell what is real and what is not. Plus, there are mysteries all around. Sonny is unsure of what is happening.
“Chapter 4” Sonny, Maryle, and Franklin go on a road trip to find the Indigo Orphanage Sonny came from.
Sonny’s life continues, and two realities keep going back and forth for him. His destiny is becoming clear to him.
“Chapter 5” Sonny is shown dreading what is coming. He thinks he knows the future, and it is not good for him or the city he lives in. This has Sonny feeling down.
Here we see a traumatic moment in Sonny’s life. How will this affect what he does next?
“Chapter 6” Sonny is becoming much darker as he spirals down a path that he seems to accept is his fate.
“Chapter 7” Sonn, now a ShadoVillainan, battles against a GlowingHeror of Light. The Hero makes a decision, and the battle takes a new turn.
“Chapter.r 8” Here we see Sonny regretting what he has done. He is seeking forgiveness from the Hero of Heroes, who may be God.
“Chapter 9” Was it all a dream, was it God intervening, was it superheroes and villains from an alternate reality? The important thing here is that Sonny decides what to do with his life.
There is so much emotion as this story is wrapping up. So much love from Sonny. Sonny truly is a superhero.
“Epilogue.” This book will bring a tear to your eye. It is filled with hope and love that the world can be a better place if we all see the superhero within us.
