WESTRON #3: SUPERNATURAL DETECTIVE THRILLER RETURNS TO KICKSTARTER

A Missing Girl, an Ancient Evil, and a Mystery That Refuses to Stay Buried

What happens when a missing-person investigation leads beyond the boundaries of reason and into the terrifying world of ancient mythology?

That is the premise behind WESTRON, the independent supernatural detective comic from Shawn McBee and Fandom Limb Media. The series combines the gritty atmosphere of classic detective fiction with psychological horror and the unsettling legends of Slavic folklore.

Now, WESTRON #3 is on Kickstarter, continuing the mystery while giving new readers an opportunity to discover the series from the beginning.

At the center of the story is Jan Westron, a brilliant private investigator whose latest assignment involves finding a missing young girl named Natalia.

What initially appears to be a conventional missing-person case quickly becomes something far more disturbing.

A corpse discovered along Landri’s Trail, mysterious connections between Natalia and a woman named Karolina, and increasingly troubling evidence suggest that something ancient and malevolent is lurking in the woods.

The deeper Westron investigates, the more the boundaries between ordinary criminal investigation and supernatural terror begin to disappear.

The detective must confront a terrifying possibility: the truth behind the girl’s disappearance may be rooted in an evil that has existed for centuries.

And unless he can unravel the mystery, an innocent life may be lost.

One of the most intriguing elements of WESTRON is its approach to supernatural storytelling.

Rather than relying on the familiar monsters of traditional horror comics, the series draws inspiration from Slavic mythology and European folklore.

The story unfolds against a European backdrop, particularly Poland and Germany, where centuries-old legends provide a rich foundation for its supernatural mysteries.

This combination of detective fiction and folklore creates an atmosphere in which every clue could lead to a rational explanation or something considerably more frightening.

Jan Westron approaches the case as an investigator, examining evidence and following leads. Unfortunately, the forces he encounters may not obey the rules of the world he understands.

That contrast between rational investigation and irrational horror gives the series its distinctive identity.

Readers who enjoy hard-boiled mysteries, supernatural investigations, and slow-building horror should find plenty
