A new Powers Squared issue, #29, “Agnes: Wreckage, Part 2,” is coming out on Wednesday, October 28th, and two days later, SRCC Press will be tabling at L.A. Comic-Con.
The new issue continues the story from the previous issue, “Agnes: Wreckage Part 1”. With Agnes’s Viribus-induced powers raging beyond her control, Marty, Eli, and Mocha work with Dr. Atlas to stop her before she reaches San Romero Community College and wreaks havoc.
“We also have a new artist,” says David Hankins, the publisher at SRCC Press. “Wendie Renard is an artist I met through Instagram, and when the opportunity arose, we hired her. This is her first book for us, and we hope there are many more to come.”
As with previous issues, the writing was done by David and Paul Hankins, the colors by Julia Canon, and the lettering by Trevor Hankins, the other creator of the series.
SRCC Press will be tabling at the upcoming L.A. Comic-Con. “We’re guests at the show,” says Paul. “We’re in Kentia Hall at table K-45 in Artist Alley. If you’re there, we hope you’ll stop and check us out.”
Powers Squared tells the story of Marty and Eli, college-aged identical twins who discover that they were granted superpowers by a magical kitsune when they were young.
