For the third annual Dreaded holiday anthology, writer Chris Ryall and artists Drew Rausch and Well-Bee pit elves against werewolves and open a new dimension in terror, while Jordan Hart alongside artists Chris Anderson and Fabio Veras unleash a haunted Christmas tree and bring about a massively oversized nutcracker battle, all underneath horrifically gorgeous covers by Maria Wolf, Hart, and painter Joe Jusko, who offers up a bizarre holiday adventure homage to himself!

“Elves versus Werewolves, self-aware parade floats that battle above Hollywood, a happy family that accidentally brings a haunted Christmas tree into their home…from art style to story themes, this year’s issue pushes the Dread the Hallsseries into unexplored territory while offering a new spin on one of the greatest Christmas horror covers of all time!” —Jordan Hart

“It’s exciting enough to get the ‘Dread’ band back together for a bleakly funny foray into the holiday season, but having a special cover from Joe Jusko, the artist whose work is directly responsible for us creating Dread the Halls in the first place, makes this one extra-special.” —Chris Ryall

Dread the Halls 2026 gets the full holiday wrap treatment with six covers—Maria Wolf: Cover A and the 1:50 Toxic Variant; Jordan Hart: the Wrapped Variant; and legendary painter Joe Jusko gets particularly festive with a Bizarre Variant, a 1:25 Unwrapped Variant, and a 1:100 Foil Variant.
