Making dough can be a tricky process, but the ‘Pizza-Making Workshop’ section breaks down how to accomplish preparing, stretching, and shaping with ease. Sarah Walker Caron thought of everything because there are options to cook your pizza indoors and outdoors.
Each recipe details what you will be making, a list of ingredients, and special tools. Occasionally, you’ll find a fun Toy Story trivia question or pizza puzzle. Each recipe includes a serving size and detailed instructions. Delicious imagery feels nostalgic and gives you ideas for presenting your finished pies. My favorite is the ‘Guest Checks,’ where orders from iconic Toy Story characters will give a glimpse into what they would order.
Chocolate lovers, this one is for you. We tested out the ‘Asteroid Belt Cookies and Cream Cheesecake’ recipe (page 126) for a get-together, and received many compliments! After underestimating just how many Oreos we would need, the recipe took under 30 minutes to prepare, with serving time two hours after the designated chill time. The flavor was out of this world; the texture was thick and creamy, making this dish the perfect treat after dinner.
