Comments: One demon in Hell is working on another when Julia Cotton comes before the council seeking something. She uses this other demon as a way to get their attention. Julia is indeed smart, as she has learned all she can before coming before the council.
The demons have a quiet attitude about them. The council and Julia Cotton are all demons, and all are evil, yet they agree to work together.
The demons here do not have horns or tails, yet they carry an air of silent terror.
Julia has big plans, yet she is willing to start small. From the way she acts, it is easy to see that this council in Hell should fear her, yet she somehow manages to charm them. A demon promises someone what they want in return for a favor, but why would any demon trust another ambitious demon?
The character of Julia Cotton is well portrayed here, and she has a likable attitude even though you know she is a cold-blooded killer.
Butterball, the demon Julia is using, is not named in this issue. He is the strong, silent type. His presence adds a horrific touch to the issue. He is big, powerful, and a cold-blooded killer as well.
