Comments: Felipe, Halik, and Jeanie are three high school teens who are thrown together, and things do not get off to a good start. One thing is certain, though—they become friends almost immediately.
The city erupts into chaos as a giant monster attacks Manhattan. The artwork does a good job of conveying just how destructive the creature is, although the monster itself is only shown briefly.
The three teens are forced to rely on one another as they struggle to survive and search for Felipe’s mother, all while monsters roam the city.
The story lacks the excitement it needs, and the dangers are not presented in a way that fully conveys just how perilous the situation has become.
While the three teens are introduced, there is very little character development. We learn only the bare minimum about them.
Three teens making their way through a city overrun by monsters is the setup for what should be a thrilling, pulse-pounding adventure.
