The reference to Sam, or Samson, cutting his hair is one that readers unfamiliar with the biblical story may miss.
A look into the past shows the Uberfuhrer and Samuel when Samuel was just a young boy. The Uberfuhrer is illustrated as an absolute powerhouse. Sam throws a hard, powerful punch and faces danger without fear.
The evil of the Nazi doctors is made abundantly clear, making these men easy to despise. The two main Nazi villains are based on real-life figures. Their cruel intentions and the horrific methods they use to achieve their vile goals are presented in disturbing detail.
The back of the book features an illustration of Samson’s superhero costume. The Israeli motif and symbols incorporated into the design demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
Samson is a retired working man who comes out of retirement to settle some unfinished business. After years without hearing from the Uberfuhrer, he is preparing for their final confrontation—a Jewish hero versus a Nazi villain.
