COMICS’ SHINING GODDESS OF LIGHT RETURNS IN A BRAND-NEW SUPER-SIZED 52-PAGE 49TH ISSUE
It began in Flare #47. It continued in Tales of the Champions #68 and Heroic Spotlight #27. And now, in the super-sized 52-page Flare #49, it’s BOOK FOUR of “The Challenge of the Gods,” the challenge that will determine who becomes queen in Olympus, with story by Dennis Mallonee and artwork by Giancarlo Caracuzzo.
In this chapter, we get to find out who all the contestants will be. The goddesses competing in the Challenge of the Gods include: APHRODITE, ARTEMIS, ATHENA, BLACK ENCHANTRESS, DANIELLE JEFFRIES, FLARE, HERMIA, KORE, NEMESIS GIRL, NYX, SELENE, SPARKPLUG, SUMMER, TIGRESS, and WHIPERETTE, plus a special surprise entrant into the challenge, making for a total of sixteen.
There will also be a second story in this issue, a story that takes us back into the early days of Flare’s superhero career and tells the story of her very first battle, against the hideous Gargoyle. The story is by Dennis Mallonee, the artwork is by Cedric Nocon and John Flaherty.
