Comments: Aaron Slaughter is shown as he wakes up and starts his day. He is poking around in some old files.
Lots of the pages here have no talking. The art does convey what is going on, though. The story does move along fast because of it. With not a lot happening in those pages, it is kind of boring. Then we see Jessie and CeCe being trained to hunt.
So no fighting, no monsters, no action in this issue. Als,o no character building. A little drama in the house, but that is about it. A girl is staying with Erica. Who she is is not mentioned. Erica just walks, sits, and chats a small amount. Jessica is on a plane going where? The where and why are not mentioned.
The art throughout most of this book is boring. The pastel colors bring out the normalcy of the setting. This is a book about hunting and killing monsters, so where are the monsters?
The art in the final panel does deliver a hard, battle-ready pose. These females are going to fight.
