Comments: Here, the book starts with a savage battle between Vikings vs Indians. One Viking survives to see the horror step out of the forest. These werewolves are nightmarish creatures.
The Viking ship upon the water is a gloomy sight. The Vikings make land, and it is a lush forest that greets them. The Indians are found by the Vikings, and one rash action sets the stage for what is to come. What comes is much more frightening than the natives. The art gorgeously shows these demonic werewolves. The colors in the eyes are beautifully done to show menace. The fangs let you know they are here to kill.
The story is simple enough: Vikings settling in a new land. It does flow along smoothly as it builds up the suspense. Until the attack starts. The fighting is brutal.
Vikings vs Indians vs Werewolves, with first blood to the Vikings. This is shaping up to be a gory blood fest with sword vs tomahawk vs fangs.
