Toronto, ON — August 23, 2025 – Fans at FAN EXPO CANADA, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, were the first to hear the exciting news: Archie Comics and Lev Gleason Publishing’s Comic House are teaming up for a historic crossover event!
Beloved Archie artist and writer Dan Parent will bring Canada’s greatest superhero, Captain Canuck, to Riverdale, where he’ll join Archie and his friends for an unforgettable adventure.
Titled ARCHIE MEETS CAPTAIN CANUCK, the special story will debut in Summer 2026, written and illustrated by Parent. This marks the first time the patriotic Canadian hero has appeared alongside Archie and the gang, blending classic Riverdale charm with Canuck’s bold, heroic spirit.
