Comments: Mel visits the Olympian. They do have a unique relationship. After that, we see that Mel wants to protect her friend Versema. We are slowly told Jess is Versema. Pieces of information are dropped slowly. Mel is or was a villain, and Jess, aka Versema, we are given no clue who she is or why people want her dead.
Jess has a contract out on her, and some want to collect. Mel helps her out, though. Mel is working to save her friend, and she needs to cancel the contract. Their friendship is made clear. These two do care about each other.
Mister January does make for a good villain with a nice attitude. He seems interesting, and we do learn a little about him. The scenes of him attacking Versema are slow, yet they do provide the most action you His use of his cold abilities is done in a cool way.
The story needs more focus. It needs to tell us more about the characters.
After the main comic, there is an explanation that fills in a lot about the relationship between Jess and Mel. Mel was a superhero, not a villain. What has happened between these two provides a good reason for them to have formed a strong bond.
