PORTLAND, OR – Rose City Comic Con is thrilled to announce two major headline moments for its upcoming Retailer Day on Friday, September 5, 2025. Acclaimed Batman #1 writer Matt Fraction will appear alongside legendary artists Steve Lieber and Liam Sharp for a limited signing of two exclusive variant covers. These editions celebrate the launch of DC’s newest era of Batman and mark a can’t-miss moment for shop owners, buyers, and industry insiders. The day will also include a powerhouse keynote presentation, hosted by Dark House Comics.
The keynote will spotlight celebrated creators Kelly Sue DeConnick and Brian Michael Bendis. DeConnick is an Eisner-nominated, genre-shaping writer best known for Captain Marvel, Pretty Deadly, and the award-winning Bitch Planet. Bendis is an Eisner-winning, Peabody-honored storyteller whose critically acclaimed runs of Ultimate Spider-Man, Alias, and Avengers events have consistently topped bestseller lists. The two will take the stage together to kick off the inaugural Retailer Day event..

Additionally, CGC will be on hand to authenticate the comic and autographs, increasing the value of the comic. With CGC Signature Series, collectors will be able to have their comic book authenticated, making the collectible eligible for the iconic CGC Signature Series yellow label.
