Comments: Charlie finds himself in a dangerous situation. Help does come just as he finishes recounting the story of how he was caught.
It would be nice to know how and why all these people came to Skull Island. So Kong rules this Island, and a tribe there worships him. Kong protects the people from what lies below. When Kong is hurt, though, something rises.
Kong looks amazing. The tentacled creature is not shown well enough. The tar-like creature we see a part of is presented well, which shows you that it is a menace. The backgrounds of the island are well illustrated.
The story needs to be explained a lot more, and who are all these people on Skull Island?
Kong here is not the star of this issue; Charlie is. Kong is a background character and is not used enough. Even when he is fighting, the battle is not fully shown, and it is a secondary part of the story.
Who is Charlie? Why is he important, and why should we care?
