Alien Books (currently in a publishing partnership with Valiant Comics and newly aligned with IDW Publishing) launched a new Kickstarter campaign for a deluxe hardcover omnibus edition of the complete HARBINGER (1992) series by Jim Shooter, David Lapham, Maurice Fontenot, Kevin VanHook and others.
Containing over 1100 pages of stories, this deluxe hardcover omnibus collects the complete HARBINGER epic from the early days of Valiant Comics as well as special features and bonus material. This project will be available first to backers on Kickstarter and features exclusive add-on rewards like a Harbinger (1992) #1 Facisimile Edition and a limited ‘Gold’ variant cover for VALIANT BEYOND: ALL-NEW HARBINGER #1.
The HARBINGER CLASSIC OMNIBUS will reprint HARBINGER (1992) #0–41, the short story “Failsafe”, Harbinger Files #1-2, Secret Weapons #6-8 and H.A.R.D. Corps #19-20 and will fit alongside previously published omnibus editions from Valiant Comics.

Originally launched in 1992 by the team of Jim Shooter and David Lapham for Valiant Comics, HARBINGER follows the story of Peter Stanchek and his band of teenage runaways, harbingers of a new age, born with the power to change the world… or break it. Plagued by emerging psionic powers he hardly understands, Peter turns to Toyo Harada and his Harbinger Foundation, an organization dedicated to teaching young people like Peter. But when Peter learns to what lengths Harada will go to further his secret agenda, he turns on his mentor, gathering a group of like-minded rebels. On the road and always just one step ahead of Harada and his hit-squad of super powered Eggbreakers, these renegade harbingers will have to learn how to use their powers to change the world for the better along the way.
