Wonder Woman Day is Saturday, June 3rd and comic book fan parents will be looking for books to introduce their kids to the iconic superhero.  As usual, Capstone has the perfect titles to help out!  Some of our favorite titles include:

BE A STAR WONDER WOMAN! A picture book from award-winning author Michael Dahl.  The perfect companion to 2016’s bestselling BEDTIME FOR BATMAN and 2017’s GOOD MORNING SUPERMAN, this official DC Comics picture book will have Wonder Woman fans young and old delighting in their daily adventures.  As a new day dawns, a young girl braves a challenge-filled day – just like her hero, Wonder Woman! Follow along as she demonstrates her greatest superpower (sharing), overcomes her worst fear (the playground), and conquers her archenemy (the spelling test). With courage, kindness, and other heroic traits of DC Comics’ Wonder Woman, she’ll turn a difficult school day into an AMAZING ADVENTURE! Along with Omar Lozano’s bright, bold illustrations, Dahl delivers an imaginative read-aloud for your littlest super heroes.  This imaginative, heroic tale will have Wonder Woman fans young and old delighting in their daily routines.  “When I was a kid I ate, breathed, and slept comic books. I wanted to be a superhero, so this book is for all those kid heroes out there. Be brave, be strong, and get out there!” says author Dahl. The book will be released June 1st, and ARCs are available.

WONDER WOMAN: AN ORIGIN STORY: She was once a young princess on the secret island inhabited by warrior women known as the Amazons…but she left her homeland–and her royal birthright–behind to become a protector for the entire planet of Earth: Wonder Woman! Follow young Diana’s incredible transformation from princess to super hero in this action-packed chapter book for early readers featuring colorful illustrations by DC Comics artists. A picture book for grades K-2.

Other Capstone Wonder Woman titles include: Wonder Woman ABC’s, Creature of Chaos, Monster Magic, Attack of the Cheetah, and for older kids DC Super Heroes Origami – do let us know if you are interested in seeing any review copies on any of the titles.  Have a great evening – and start counting down to June 3rd!
