Fantasia Comic Con brings together America’s three greatest mediums under one roof: Pop Culture, Entertainment and Fandom.
Fantasia’s ultimate goals is to meet the needs of the fan first. So many comic con’s forget the true purpose of bringing these three mediums together for the benefit and enjoyment of the fans in attendance. Fantasia Con has not forgotten this creed and is committed to the fans first in satisfying their every need. We hope to accomplish this by featuring Pop Culture, celebrities, independent artists, cos play, video games and most importantly of all-comics. Fantasia Comic Con is a place where entertainment, pop culture and fandom can all intersect for the enjoyment of all and the experience of a lifetime.
Eric Fox has been in the entertainment business for over 20 years as a freelance special effects artist saying: “I’ve always had a fascination for special effects in the behind the scenes movie magic” He was captivated at an early age growing up watching tons of early 80s slasher films as well as all the cool sci-fi and giant monster movies. He knew from an early age that this is what he wanted to do when he grew up and has never lost track of that . He got his first film job while working part time at the local costume store while a junior in high school and has been hooked ever since He spent most of my early career working on low budget indie films, but slowly started working his way up to bigger and cooler projects for most of his career. He’s had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest artists in the field and his most memorable experience was the time that he got to work with one of his mentors, screaming mad, George, a well-known special effects artist from Japan responsible for some of the coolest stuff throughout 80’s horror I work. One of the things that sets him apart from a lot of other artists today is to do the biggest craziest stuff he can find. He loves to come up with new and exciting ways to trick the camera and try to take new approaches to achieving dramatic special effects. He gained lots of exposure from the Syfy network’s, enormously popular, Face Off and quickly became a fan favorite for creating some of the biggest, craziest and visually stunning creations the show has ever seen. His current goal is to work on new, original projects enabling him to bring high caliber effects to all films with the very best quality.

Orlando Harding is an independent comic book publisher and writer who enjoyed the challenges of creating and attention to detail. Comics, science fiction and fantasy have always been a source of wonder for him, sparking an interest that eventually led to him developing and creating his own comic book titles. The movie Star Wars sparked his interest and had the greatest impact on him which led creating his own characters. Writing his own stories enabled him to deepen his understanding and knowledge of the creative process. In so, he has created groundbreaking comic book characters that are not necessarily “super heroes” but characters that evolve and grow while enhancing already intricate and sophisticated story driven chronicles. He strives to capture and maintain the reader’s attention with a careful balance of intriguing synopsis paired with unpredictable plots. He is the founder and creator of Revolution Comics and author of the comic book Pariah, (2005), and the critically acclaimed Night Stalker (2013). Orlando has recently released R.R.H. which has been featured in The San Francisco Examiner, and received nothing but excellent reviews by the comics community. He won the coveted GLYPH award in 2013 for best female character (Night Stalker) and was recruited by Ken F. Levin and 1 First Comics to be part of the 1First Comics re-launch. He is a true visionary with his creations and wants to share them with the world.

Born curious and raised on a steady diet of comic books and monster movies set John’s course at an early age. Star Wars sealed his fate. Come hell or high water he was going to do THAT: Help create magic, awe and wonder. Flash forward to many years later as preparation and opportunity dovetailed he helped start BioWare as their director of concept art and design and became a key player in their growth and evolution. After nine years and fifteen games it was time to move to the next level. Vancouver and the film industry beckoned and he heeded the call in 2008. Since then, John has worked on a broad and diverse range of genre series and features from Once Upon A Time, Falling Skies and Man In the High Castle to Night at the Museum 3, Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters and the upcoming Power Rangers. Currently illustrating both The Flash and Supergirl, this proud papa enjoys spending downtime with his daughter Rynn, vigorous debate, devouring high culture and lowbrow kitsch with equal enthusiasm, living well and contemplating the nature of all things on the pale blue dot and far beyondhttp://www.firstcomicsnews.com/the-fantasia-comic-con/http://www.firstcomicsnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/fantasia-comic-con-600x257.pnghttp://www.firstcomicsnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/fantasia-comic-con-150x64.pngNews
