Leave it to Wayne Hall to talk about a subject near and dear to my heart; Should Marvel Keep Looking Back to Its Past? I could say more about the topic but Wayne does a great job touching upon a lot of my issues with recent Marvel Comics, from the replacement of icon characters with newer, younger versions to the constantly changing histories of the heroes.

Ric Croxton started off the new years talking about a new book by Joel Jenkens called :Dogs and Sorcerers”, a book I never heard of written by someone I was not familiar with. Needless to say, by the end of the review I was actually pretty interested in checking out the book which sounds like a good winter read. It may not be a comic book review but there is more to literature than comic books, right?

Richard Vasseur got a chance to talk with the writer of the Pathfinder: Spiral of Bones writer Crystal Frasier about her history with the property as well as her plans for the series. For those who do not know the series focuses on Valeros who is the iconic fighter of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game which is based on an older version of the Dungeons and Dragons RPG. Most comic books based on role-playing titles have a really limited life span, the last one I really read was IDW’s D&D comic that was pretty great. Find out what Crystal has in store for Valeros and crew with this nice little interview.

Have you ever heard of Bob the Squirrel? Me either but Calvin Daniels does a good job introducing the character who has been appearing daily on the web for years.

Anytime you get top talk with a star from the new Star Wars movies it is a big deal but Holly Golightly got to spend a few minutes with one of the breakout stars of The Force Awakens and she got it all on video. Here is a big lighter thumbs up to that!

A month cannot be really complete without a little self promotion, amiright? Anyways, my son Lucas and I sat down and filmed a reaction video for the brand new Pacific Rim Uprising trailer that just hit the net. Remember when we had to buy tickets to see Meet Joe Black just to watch the Star Wars Episode 1 trailer? Now we film reaction videos in the comfort of our own home. We live in a glorious time.
