Comments: Alexandra Marie Underwood she died and came back as something different. She has been chosen to fight the powers of evil. A dead abusive cop attacking her definitely fits the bill.
This version of the Witchblade is different than previous ones.
There is no action in this issue but several characters are featured. There is some kind of magic involved with crooked cops. Alex has been dropped right in the middle of it all.
The Witchblade is shown and its tendrils do start to come out but not fully. The thing is dangerous and it wants to attack evil. Will Alex be able to control it and herself or will she give in to it as the mysterious Ash wants?
The art is just there with nothing special about it. Some poses showing off the characters better would be nice to see.
Alex is a good person here though after dying things may be changing. Sometimes it takes a not so nice person to handle the forces of evil.
