Comments: Trish is a moisture farmer on Mars and she loves roller derby or as it is called here hoverderby. She wants to play on the Novas team and risks a lot to try out.
Trish does make an impression. She does get on the team just not as a player.
The scenes of the girls skating are well done and have a futuristic look to them. The glowing colors and the skate designs add that look.
Trish is being used as skilled manual labor on the roller team. You can see in both the writing and art that she wants to skate so bad. It is all she wants.
When Trish finally gets in a practice scrimmage she is illustrated amazingly. As she steps onto the track she looks gorgeous.
This story is about more than just skating it’s about Trish’s life and how she will spend it. Her family has plans for her but she has her own plans. For a fifteen-year-old girl, she is head strong. She acts impulsively. Pus on Mars there are Martians which we just start to get into here. Trish has a lot going on in her life. Here you can join her on an adventure that will take her only she knows where.
