I heard about Prince’s death yesterday morning at work, from a customer calling the business that I work for.

I was quite surprised. What a sad day…
His music transcended rock, jazz, bluegrass, swing, and so many other styles of music, and was a combo of all of these things, and more.

The man was a musical genius.

One of the new snippets on Prince’s passing has it that a reporter asked Eric Clapton, “What is it like being the most talented still living guitarist in the world?

His reply? “I don’t know. You’ll have to ask Prince.”

I’ll greatly miss this talent. I have many of his records.

I heard on the news this evening, that Prince released thirty-eight albums, and that there is enough unreleased music by Prince, currently in a vault, that when it finally comes out in albums or other forms of packaging, there is enough Prince music that has never been heard by the public, enough to fill another One Hundred Albums!!!
