I met Phil Latter online he had joined the Mighty Crusaders eGroup and we shared a love for the Archie Heroes.
Over time we started our own Continuity Comics website and message board. Followed by the Malibu Protectors.
When I started working for Silver Bullet Comic Books as an editor Phil joined me as an interviewer. When we left Silver Bullet Phil was one of the original people to join me in converting Super Hero News, my email-based news service into this format First Comics News, a web-based news service.
Phil has been with me through thick and thin and always is a happy and vocal supporter in all we do here as well as continuing to contribute interviews and articles. Today is his birthday, please join me in wishing Phil a Happy Birthday!

He was the Public Relations Coordinator at Archie Comics for a decade. He is currently the Editor-In-Chief at G-Man Comics. For TwoMorrows Publications, Rik co-wrote The MLJ Companion with Paul Castiglia and Jon B. Cooke, charting the history of Archie’s superheroes, and for Gemstone Publishing wrote chapters of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide to Lost Universes.
