Hurricanes Irma and Maria have left Puerto Rico completed devasted. Many of us here in the United States have been doing our part to raise money and awareness. This is very important as we will be doing a recovery effort for Puerto Rico for months and years to come. It’s up to all of us to continue to support. I’ll be producing my first fundraiser for Puerto Rico, Arte de La Borinqueña which opens this Wednesday at Casita Maria in the South Bronx located at 928 Simpson Street.Printing of the art prints from this show have been generously donated by London’s Art You Grew Up With, International. Each of the 36 prints measures 24″ x 36″ and are on sale for $200 with 100% of the proceeds to go to La Corporación Piñones Se Integra (www.copipr.com). If you cannot make it, but want to support this event you can visit their website to make a donation directly to them. You can also make donations via www.hispanicfederation.org.

This year at the New York Comic Con I will be a featured guest! To celebrate this I will be debuting a special variant cover of La Borinqueña! You can find me at Artist’s Alley Table E13 right next to John Leguizamo (who I also collaborated this year to make his own comic book!). I hope to see you all there!

The wait is finally over! Those of you that supported with your pre-order purchase of your very own signed and numbered limited edition vinyl figures will be receiving your purchase in the next few days! Only 750 units exist and 150 have already been shipped!

We also have hard enamel lapel pins in stock that will look great on your caps, backpacks, and more!

Finally, I apologize personally for the delay in shipping out comic books and other merchandise. We will be catching up on everyone’s orders next week. Thank you so much for your continued support! Your purchases go towards the production of our next issue which is coming soon! So, if you haven’t already, you can scroll down to place your orders for our comic books as well as pre-ordering the second issue which I’m writing right now!

¡Palante, siempre palante!

Edgardo
