Blind Prophet preview
A New Graphic Novel, Blind Prophet, Part 1 Explores the Possibility,
with Prophetic Visions that may be Close to Coming True.
Flemington, NJ – September, 2016 – Are demons at work in Washington, DC, tempting all sides toward strife and division? Are second amendment advocates really plotting assassinations, as hinted at by Donald Trump? Is the government planning to end the second amendment, as some Trump supporters suggest? Will Texas secede, a move a majority of Texans favored in a recent poll, if Hillary Clinton were elected? Could there be a demonic conspiracy behind all these events?
Such are the premises of “Blind Prophet, Part 1,” a new graphic novel written by Joseph Cillo, Jr., of Flemington, NJ, and masterfully illustrated by Gabriel Santiago, of Winter Springs, Florida, that was released by Infornuity Publishing, LLC on September 9th, 2016, and is now available on amazon.com, and through the www.blindprophetcomic.com website.
“I wrote this story as a screenplay back in 2011, when no one was talking about gun control. I thought I was writing a wild, crazy, over-the-top comic book story about a blind, autistic kid who saves the world, but now, it’s start- ing to look prophetic,” says Joseph Cillo, Jr.
In the story, Daniel Prophet, a blind, autistic savant, performs on the piano for the president of the United States, and experiences a series of visions that include an assassination attempt by a gun-rights activist, a crackdown on gun advocates, and the secession of Texas from the union, among other even more graphic visions of the mayhem the demons are planning. Will the
prophet be able to influence events to avoid these outcomes? “You’ll have to wait for Part 2 to find out,” Joseph Cillo says, with a wry smile. “Everything is left up in the air at the end of this one. That’s a situation I think Ameri- can’s are all too familiar with.”http://www.firstcomicsnews.com/blind-prophet-preview/http://www.firstcomicsnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Blind-Prophet-logo-600x257.pnghttp://www.firstcomicsnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Blind-Prophet-logo-150x64.pngNews
