First, for the first time in color, our beautiful occult detective Psyche stars in the thrilling conclusion to the classic “Dark Passion” storyline, featuring guest appearances by the Huntsman, Lady Arcane, and Doctor Arcane. This third and final chapter is by writer Dennis Mallonee, and the fabulous artistic team of Mark Beachum, Tim Burgard, and Duval Stowers.
The second story in this issue is possibly the more important one. Now, at last, answers to that lingering mystery begin to unfold, starting here, in the pages of WitchGirls Inc #9, with an all-new adventure by Dennis Mallonee and Duval Stowers, as the naughty Black Enchantress starts ”The Quest for Lady Arcane.” This is the prologue to an eight-part crossover event that fans of the Heroic Publishing titles definitely won’t want to miss, an event that (if current plans hold) will play out starting in September in the pages of WitchGirls Inc #10-12, Flare #40-41, Black Enchantress #4-5, and Lady Arcane #5.
