Portland, OR – (7/3/2012) – Periscope Studio, the largest studio of freelance comics artists in North America, today announced a change in the organization’s membership roster with the addition of newcomer Grace Allison. The announcement was made by studio member Dylan Meconis.

Ms. Meconis said: “Grace is a natural fit for the studio. There’s an immediate warmth and appeal to everything she draws, and we all admire her professionalism.” Steve Lieber, one of Periscope’s founding members, added “We’ve been fans of Grace’s work since we met her as a student in 2010. Her skills impressed us immensely and we knew she had a bright career ahead of her.”

Grace arrives at Periscope having already launched her career as the artist for “Wander: Olive Hopkins and the Ninth Kingdom,” debuting from Monkeybrain Studios July 19th, and series colorist for ”Memorial,” published by IDW Publishing.

Grace Allison lives in Portland and graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011, in addition to study abroad in
France and Japan. Her work can be viewed at http://www.gracifer.com.
