RED CIRCLE COMICS announces new regular NEW CRUSADERS artist Alitha Martinez

NEW CRUSADERS, the hit digital-first series from Red Circle Comics unveiled the latest addition to its stellar creative team: artist Alitha Martinez.

Martinez will be joining ongoing writer Ian Flynn starting with next week’s installment of the weekly NEW CRUSADERS series. Martinez has a wealth of experience, including stints at Marvel and DC.

“Alitha is a really versatile artist who’s been around in mainstream superhero comics for a while,” series Editor Paul Kaminski told CBR.

Martinez is more than up to the challenge, summing up her experience with, “It’s just a world I can plop in and try a different style. Every page I say to myself, ‘I’m doing a departure from Marvel’s way. I’m doing a departure from DC’s way.’ And now I’m in a whole new area.”
