The Sorcerers DVDElderly Professor Marcus Montserrat (BORIS KARLOFF) teaches speech therapy by applying hypnosis. Unknown to any but his wife, Estelle (CATHERINE LACEY), he has invented a remarkable device that can control minds. Seeking to recapture youthful experiences long lost, Marcus convinces young thrill seeker Mike Roscoe (IAN OGILVY) to use the machine with promise of a new, exciting experience. Once programmed, Mike responds to commands issued by the old couple though he is unaware of their control. They prompt the young man to steal a mink wrap for Stele and delight in the vicarious thrills supplied by committing a crime. Marcus wants to quit but Estelle, possessing the more powerful mind seizes control urging Mike to do increasingly brazen acts. Her automaton savagely beats up Mike’s best friend and then indulges in mindless murder. Can Marcus stop her or will he, too, become a victim?
