In this special 48-page annual edition of Flare, her regular newspaper comic strip artist, Sean Harrington, makes his Flare comic book debut with a brilliant cover, plus a fabulously rendered all-new adventure featuring our glittering goddess of the light battling crime in San Francisco, side-by-side with her police officer boyfriend, Lucas Madison. This adventure also serves as a prologue to the “Challenge of the Gods” storyline that will be appearing in future issues of Flare.
Also in this annual edition, as a apecial bonus treat, Dennis Mallonee and J. Adam Walters present a Sensational G-Girl preview, “G-Girl at the Bat.” Please note that this story is done in a classic teen-comic style that’s very different from the Mark Beachum superhero-style material that will be appearing in the upcoming Sensational G-Girl comic book.
